| As most of you guys know, my friend Tristin was expecting a baby girl. Well, little miss Briley Shae Abair arrived at 1:54 am on Thursday, September 28th. Aaron and I got to be there in the waiting room anxiously awaiting the arrivial of this precious baby. She is beautiful - yes I am biased but it is true! Here are some pictures to share ...

| Today is my sister's birthday! Happy Birthday Carrie Lynn! It is also the First Day Of Summer and that is the longest day of the year. How cool to be born on the longest day of the year!

Here is a picture of my adorable little sister and her nephew!
Now, I must pass along this picture I took of a billboard that is on 40 West close to our house. I love it!

| So I made a turkey last night :) This is the first ever attempt to cook a turkey on my own without the assistance of my beautiful sister. So yes, I did take some pics to enjoy the occasion ...
We went to fan fair last week. I felt like a tourist in Nashville because we took Thursday and Friday off so we could do it right. That we did! It was lots of fun but ohhh so hot! I didn't get that many good pictures, but our friends Bobby and Sarah came and they got some great ones. You can go to Sarah's site to see them if you want. Aaron's friend Stephanie played at the Riverstages with Billy Yates so we got to see her play. The best part, of course, was seeing Wynonna.

The moves are officially over now for the Weaver family. Carrie and Kyle are in California, Mom is in Florida and Dad is in West Virginia. Dad came to Nashville for Father's Day and we had lots of fun just hanging out at Lowe's and watching tv around the house. Mom came down just before her move to Florida for a conference she had at the Renaissance Hotel. I stayed with her there while she was in town. It worked out well because Aaron was on a retreat in Alabama with his work. Mom and I went to the Reading, Writing and Rhythm benefit at the Wildhorse Saloon and even though it was crazy packed with people we had lots of fun just hanging out.
Yes, I am listening to the Judds reunion. Fan Fair inspired me to go old school country for a while. And, while I am sure you think it is strange, I love it!
That is all for now! | | |
| Congratulations to my adorable little husband on his new MBA degree. He graduated this weekend and we had a cookout with our favorite people here in Nashville to celebrate!
Here are some pictures from the festivities this weekend...

In other news, my sister is moving to California this week. I believe I am emotionally ready for this (too bad if I'm not :) They will stop by on their way through so we will get to see them before the big move.
Aaron's sister Emily graduates from VCU with her Doctorate in Pharmacy this week. We are super proud of her - so we will be making the trip to Richmond this week for the festivities. More graduation pictures will follow from that event I'm sure! Then my parents will fly back from the trip to California and stay with us Memorial Day weekend! May is a busy month around the Chambers house for sure. | | |
| Well they have done it again...
I didn't know how wonderful life could be until I began watching Alias 5 years ago. I never thought I would get obsessed with a television show. I laughed at my husband for his love for Seinfeld and I have seen every Friends episode ever made, but I never understood the whole...my life cannot go on without that show sentiment. Now I get it...
This is my love letter to my favorite show..
Dear Alias,
You came into my life and showed me what it meant to live week to week - episode to episode. Because of you, I spent my days dreaming about Vaughn and wishing I were Sydney Bristow. I want the red wig and the leather pants. Now I can't look at a writing pen the same without thinking that I could easily turn it into a decoder that will help me break into a safe somewhere in Uzbekistan. The number 47 now has special meaning to me. I wish my mom were an undercover terrorist - ohhh Irina - you are the June Cleaver of the 21st Century. Any time I walk into a parking garage, I sware that Jack Bristow is watching me from afar. And Sloane...oh Sloane...we have traveled a long road together but I know deep down you truly love me and only want the best for me...your love of power has just misplaced your priorities...its ok...I forgive you...WAIT! I'm not Sydney...whew...this happens a lot. Still sometimes I tell my friends that I work for a bank in a boring desk job secretly wondering if they can tell - do they see, do they know...Will, Francie...I miss your friendship...you helped me experience life as it should be lived, playing a game of cards with a glass of wine in hand...Here I go again, I know I am not Sydney but if wishes came true...I would have just given birth to Vaughn's love child.
Alias, if you must go and leave me here to live a life without the drama, excitement and suspense you create than please, please do me a favor and don't kill my baby's daddy off for good!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO,
Sydney
